Hey there! I’m Lena, an enthusiastic and empathetic UX designer.
I have a degree in Global Business and Digital Arts from the University of Waterloo, Stratford School of Interaction Design and Business - a bit of a mouthful, isn’t it? It was there that I discovered UX design and how it could add value to people’s lives.
I have had the opportunity to work with a wicked marketing team at Gore Mutual as a Graphic Designer. They taught me so much of what I know about marketing, communications, and most importantly - design. I dream of moving into a role that will allow me to leverage my robust experience and translate it into beautiful, accessible, and meaningful experiences.
I love working collaboratively with teams of diverse skill sets and backgrounds. If you work with me, you’ll note that I work hard to create an inclusive environment, embrace learning opportunities, and enjoy making others laugh (seriously be prepared - I’m a fan of puns and finger guns).
Outside of work, I’m a cat owner, art lover, and self-proclaimed baker. On the weekends, I can usually be found spending time with my family, making bread (not figuratively), checking out art galleries, or watching the Great British Bake Off.
I'm open to volunteer, project, and job opportunities. If you're interested in working together or just want to learn more about me, please drop me a line!
